Great Things Happening At ConVENTion 2008 !!

VHC ConVENTion brochures have been mailed today (right on time as promised) and you all should be receiving the info in a matter of days (or several days if you are overseas). Please read carefully about the new procedure on entering the Junior and Senior Open Mics. I think it will simplify things and make it more fair for everyone to have a chance to sign up. Also we have the brochure available on this website for those that either don't want to wait...or for whatever reason did not receive a brochure.

MORE GENERAL OPEN MICS

That's right, we have expanded our General Open Mic sessions from one to three this year (with 8 participants in each...24 spots in all) to give more people a chance to show their talents on stage. General Open Mic sign ups are always done on a "first come" basis AT THE ConVENTion REGISTRATION AREA. We do not take requests for General Open Mic by email, phone call, or regular mail. We will have three sign up sheets available at a designated time in London Hall Lobby which will be the site of our registration area.

CONTEST !!

That's right, we have a contest underway with the mailing of the new brochure. In the brochure is a misspelled word (a typo) and if you are the first person to email me with the correct answer (the typo) you will get $25.00 taken off your registration. Here again this is on a "first come" basis and there will be only one winner, so use your eagle eyes to see if you can find the typo. Please email your answers to me at; markwade@kidshowvent.com

WORLD PREMIER

Our good friend Bryan Simon and company worked very hard all last year putting together a wonderful documentary about ventriloquism and our ConVENTion and we are pleased to announce that the world premier of this film will be shown at the VHC this summer! Jimmy Nelson will introduce the film at his "Vent Videos" spot and you'll get to see why we are all excited about this project. Great job, Bryan and crew!!

Lots of other exciting surprises await you at VHC 2008! We look forward to seeing all of you in Ft. Mitchell!!
