'YOU CAN'T DRAW BLOOD OUT OF WOOD'--Charlie McCarthy can't be a blood donor, but he and Edgar Bergen are urging all their fellow Americans to save the life of a fighting man in Korea by each contributing a pint of blood. Bergen and McCarthy add that the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Red Cross Blood Bank must meet a quota of 500,000 pints of blood by the end of the month. At present the bank is far below its mark.
